At The Tradie List, we want every customer to feel confident when booking storage or parking spaces through our platform. That’s why we offer a Money-Back Guarantee exclusively for space rental bookings made via our site.
This guarantee ensures you’re protected if your booked space isn’t as described or unavailable when you need it.
When You’re Eligible for a Refund
You may qualify for a full refund if:
The issue is reported within 24 hours of booking confirmation; and
The booked space is unavailable at the agreed date or time; or
There is a significant error in the address or description of the space; or
Your vehicle or stored items cannot fit due to misleading or incorrect details provided by the host.
How to Report an Issue
If you experience any issue with your space booking, the process to report it is simple and straightforward. Start by logging into your account and navigating to your dashboard. Once there, locate the specific booking you are having trouble with and select the “Options” menu, followed by “Report Issue.” In your report, include as much detail as possible about the problem. This may include the nature of the issue, when it occurred, and any supporting evidence such as photographs, receipts, or written statements. The more information you can provide, the faster we can resolve your case.
After you submit your claim, our support team will review your request and assess your eligibility under the Money-Back Guarantee. We may contact you for clarification or to request additional information if necessary. Once your claim has been verified and approved, your refund will be processed and deposited into your nominated bank account within five to seven business days.
Please Note
The Money-Back Guarantee applies only to space rental bookings made through The Tradie List. It does not cover tradie services, home improvement jobs, or any other listings on the platform. This guarantee is designed to protect customers who book parking or storage spaces through our verified hosts.
Please also note that certain costs fall outside of the guarantee. These include expenses such as removalist fees, towing or transport costs, alternative storage or parking arrangements, and any fines incurred during your rental period. Refunds are not available for changes of mind or cancellations made outside of the conditions outlined in this policy. Every refund request is subject to review, and we reserve the right to confirm the issue with the host before processing any reimbursement.
Verification Process
All refund requests are subject to verification. We may contact both the renter and the host to confirm the issue before processing your claim. False or misleading claims may result in account suspension.
