All agreements, pricing, and work arrangements are made directly between the homeowner and the tradie. The Tradie List does not guarantee the quality of services, timeliness, or completion of work arranged through the platform.

5. Account Registration

Some features of The Tradie List may require you to create an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.

  • Accept full responsibility for all activity under your account.

All quotes provided through The Tradie List come directly from individual tradies or service providers.
We do not set prices, control payments, or take part in any agreements made between homeowners and tradies.

  • It is your responsibility to compare, verify, and confirm all quotes before proceeding.

  • Any agreements or payments are strictly between you and the tradie.

The Tradie List does not hold or process payments on behalf of users. All payments must be arranged directly between the homeowner and the tradie.
We recommend confirming the scope of work, total costs, and timelines in writing before any work begins.

7. Verification and Reviews

We conduct reasonable checks to confirm that tradies registered on The Tradie List hold valid licences and insurance relevant to their trade.
However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, currency, or completeness of every tradie’s documentation. Users are encouraged to verify details independently before engaging any service provider.

Reviews and ratings left on the Platform must reflect genuine experiences. By submitting a review, you agree that:

  • Your review is honest, accurate, and based on your own experience.

  • You will not post false, defamatory, or offensive content.

  • The Tradie List reserves the right to moderate, edit, or remove any reviews that breach our standards or appear fraudulent.

Homeowners agree to:

Tradies agree to:

You must not use the Platform to mislead others, post false jobs, or promote unrelated products or services. Breaching these terms may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Tradie List operates as a neutral platform connecting homeowners with independent tradies.
We are not responsible for the conduct, performance, or reliability of any tradie or customer using the Platform.

To the extent permitted by Australian law, The Tradie List will not be liable for:

  • Disputes, delays, or cancellations between users.
